Opportunity: Dyno Technician
Summary
You will be assisting our Hypertech team with the development and testing of our tuning products. We have opportunities for enthusiastic career-oriented technicians to join the Hypertech team. This position is in Bartlett, TN. Location assistance will not be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Installation and removal of vehicles on our chassis dynos
- Set up and operation of chassis dynamometers
- Instrumentation of specific test equipment for evaluation purposes and data acquisition
- Installation and removal of performance related hardware and accessories
- Follow testing procedures, documentation, and safety
- Develop tuning under the direction of a senior engineer and general manager
- Develop and participate in experimentation and tests related to product development
- Communication with team supervisors, engineers, and technical support
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree in automotive field or equivalent preferred
- Engine dyno testing experience and dyno related equipment
- Mechanical experience with powertrain and related sensors
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Should be self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use basic automotive test equipment such as volt meters and oscilloscopes
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge in MS Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Good time management skills
- Automotive experience is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation, on time and excellent attendance is a must
